机构名称: Yale Institute for Nanoscience and Quantum Engineering (YINQE) (United States)
机构描述:

The mission of the Yale Institute for Nanoscience and Quantum Engineering is to develop collaborations centered on nanoscale research projects among those in a variety of scientific disciplines, in order to make substantial advances in understanding and technology. The Institute aims to place Yale among the world’s leaders in nanoscale research and applications by strengthening existing areas of excellence and providing new physical and intellectual capabilities that will nucleate new collaborations and research dimensions. A key thrust of the YINQE is to strengthen links between physical scientists and engineers and the medical, biological and biochemical research communities. This has begun with a series of seminars, workshops and other outreach activities aimed at increasing internal communication and broadening collaborative interactions both inside and outside of Yale. YINQE will also solicit, select and support “seed” research projects to assist faculty in creating and nurturing new collaborative research involving various disciplines.
